I am very fond of BB creams and use them daily. I use BB cream instead of foundation since I like the natural look it provides. I got the No7 BB Cream from Boots Pharmacy recently. Let’s read on to know more about it.

My Experience with No7 Beautiful Skin BB Cream for Normal / Dry Skin Fair:

BB cream is such a cool product – it’s like a moisturizer, sun screen and a sheer coverage foundation – all in one!
I generally like No7 products which is Boots Pharmacies very own brand. I was keen to try their BB cream. It comes in two shades only – Fair and Medium. The BB cream has two variants as well – Normal to Oily skin and Normal to dry skin. I have fair to medium skin tone and combination skin type. So, I decided to go with the Fair variant in Normal to dry type for myself.

The packaging is decent. It has a pale pink outer box and a flat sort of tube inside. The BB cream is packed in a pale pink tube with a black plastic cap. Since it’s not a glass bottle, the product is light and ideal for travel. The tube makes usage convenient and hygienic.

When you pump out the BB cream from the tube, the texture seems slightly thick. Once you apply it to the face, it spreads out well onto the skin. Considering that the texture is not too runny, the product does not really glide onto the skin.

After a few minutes, you will see that the BB cream has set into the skin giving it a natural and matte finish. I would suggest to dot this cream on the face and then quickly blend with fingers or a foundation brush since it dries quickly. Use light strokes until it is evenly applied.

It has a light texture and quite a decent coverage for a BB cream. The shade “Fair” has actually turned out light for my skin tone. Wish there were more shades.

See the swatch below where I have pumped out the BB cream and then blended on the wrist. Notice how the skin looks even and natural.

I have combination skin with dry patches and the BB cream did make my skin feel hydrated. However, my dry patches did not feel very well moisturized. I would say that it would suit normal to combination skin type as well as combination to oily skin types. I don’t think it’s the best one for dry skin types. This one is good for daily use if it goes well with your shade and if you prefer matte finish.
